"King Group Furniture Co.,Ltd" was formally established in Hong Kong.

"Zhongshan Golden King Furniture Industrial Co., Ltd." was formally established in Gangkou Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, with the goal to become the pioneered factory in China which makes & exports the American style traditional furniture. In order to achieve this goal, the factory invited more than ten carving masters from Nantong, Jiangsu to teach more apprentices how to make the professional carvings.

Steady growth period. The products are introduced to the European market by American customers. The company applied and obtained the California and Virginia "Furniture Manufacturers of Upholstering Products Complying with California Fire retardant Standards Foam" license, and continues to apply every year.

Under the financial crisis, we have successfully transformed and used the advantages of manufacturing chairs with different structures and styles. At the same time, we gradually upgraded the quality level. We tried to focus our direction on higher end, less quantity and multiple kinds of product, to separate ourselves with other furniture factories. The business in the Japanese market and five-star hotel has laid a good foundation for the improvement of the quality concept for our labors. In the same year, our chairs were sold to J.C.Penny department store through the American customer Pulaski.

Our product level and business are continuously growing, so we kept hiring more carving masters, and trained more apprentices at the same time.The caring masters from Zhejiang Dongyang joined into our team, Their carving style is rough but deep, very 3 dimensional. However the carving style of the Nantong masters are delicate but flat. In order to make the products uniform, we successfully combined both advantages from both areas, and improved the disadvantages of them. The new improvements make the product with more definition and delicate look. This creation has won unanimous praise from foreign customers. We also begin to make the barstools business with customers, and successfully sell the barstools into the American residential market. This period is at the stage of the rapid development of the American economy, so the company's performance continues to improve. Many high end customers such as Century, Lexington, Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, Lane, Hooker and other famous centennial brands have all started cooperation with our company. And through the American customers, our chairs were sold to Montgomery department store. In the same year, our products "Windsor" "The Secret Garden" series has successfully been used in the famous Korean drama "Funny Princes", through the clients of Regency House in the United States and The Gallery in South Korea.

In the tenth anniversary of the founding, the company held the first sports meeting. The products began to enter the Middle East market. The factory absorbed the complexity and three-dimensional effect of Middle Eastern carving style, as well as the skills of applying gold and silver leaves, the product color and texture have a richer performance. At the same time, the new sofa line makes our the product line more diversified. After passing Costco’s factory audit, we begin to sell products to this large furniture store in the United States through American distributors. In the same year, our products "Windsor" and "Secret Garden" series were once again successfully used in the well-known Korean drama ”Hotelier”.

The company cooperated with American customers IDM and Sligh to establish a cabinet line, specializing in making high-end American TV cabinets and office furniture. This expands our product range more, and we successfully built a different field to distinguished from the other Dongguan furniture factories which concentrate themselves in the bedroom group market.

The company cooperate with American artists to develop the real gold picture frame market. The US client came to guild and train to make many of our apprentices become professional workers. The hand-made picture frames, applied with water-based environmental friendly materials, are exclusive sold to famous artists and museums in America.

The group expanded its operations and moved to Tanzhou Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong. The new factory takes the area of more than 100 acres. Zhongshan King’s Group Furniture (Enterprise) Co., Ltd. was established. In the same year, the United States implemented anti-dumping complaints against Chinese bedroom furniture, and Zhongshan Golden King Furniture Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully responded and became one of the first batch of 82 enterprises nationwide to obtain the first group average tax rate.

The product successfully entered the Korean high-end furniture market. The Korean style was combined with American and Middle Eastern styles.

The company planned for the domestic market. Started to register trademarks for the company in China, and successfully applied for two patents at the same time

The company established it’s first domestic furniture store "Art House Home Furnishing" in Tanzhou, Zhongshan, and successfully registered the "David Design" brand. It was ready to introduce the group's 17 years of experience and cultural tastes of different countries to China. In the same year, the company began to try US contract business, and passed Disney's factory audit.

Started to cooperate with well-known companies and hotels such as Disney. The initial transformation was successful. Since then, contract furniture has gradually kept pace with residential furniture and has become another main route of our company. This year, the TV cabinet for Disney Florida Broadwalk Villas was painted with PU which is our first time to use the new system of finishing with antique look and the result is good.In the second half of the year, we began to produce bedroom sets for Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. It’s also our first time to install the fiber optics on the headboard. The LED fiber optics and furniture were perfectly combined, so that the bed can show the night starlight and the light of fireworks.The installation for this furniture project took 3 years and 3 phases, and was completed in 2011. At the end of this year, our company opened "Junlin Home Furnishing" local store in Zhuhai Shibang Home Furnishing market, and promoted the products to customers in Zhuhai and Macau.

Through U.S. customers, we have produced furniture for many resorts/ hotels
 in Florida, which won our customer’s compliment and confidence. We also produced some furniture for Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii. This hotel opened in 2011.

The 20th anniversary of the founding. We have invited CCTV Management Observation Channel to the factory to make the live DVD for the factory celebration, and cooperate with CCTV Enterprise Network. Both sides established a cooperative partnership and promote together.

The steady growth of hotel furniture orders has made up for the shrinking on residential furniture orders caused by the American financial turmoil and the European debt crisis. The headboard in the bedroom project for the Magnolia Bend Royal Room Hotel in Disney World in Florida. It’s our 2nd time to produce the fiber optic headboard. This time the fiber optic has the animation effect. The light source starts from the fireflies on the ground, and the concentrated beam rises to the sky to become fireworks. At the same time, a reading light is added at the top, and the top crown light source is reflected from the embedded transparent gem and the shield, plus the painted scenes of the famous cartoon "Princess and the Frog", the overall effect is extremely attractive, and received great acclaim when it opened in 2012.

After producing various categories of high-quality furniture for Disney, we have gained the full trust from the customer. This year, we have produced the project for the Disney Wilderness Lodge, Grand Villa & Lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney Florida Hilton Head Hotel in this year.

We produced the game tables and sliding doors for the Disney Caribbean Beach hotel, and made the furniture for the bedroom, living room and dining room of the Southern Mountain Resort through the customer Regency Furniture, and won the compliment by customers, so in the following years, customers continuously purchased more furniture from our company for other hotels of the same series.

Before the Spring Festival this year, Shanghai Disneyland Hotel was successfully topped off. At the same time, The interesting furniture for hotel bedrooms and outdoor of the park is ready to display, including the headboard with Tinkle bell and castle art parquet which is the third fiber optic bed series produced by our company for Disney, and other outdoor furniture such as the popsicle stick bench in the Toy Story play area.

The headboards we produced for Disney Wilderness lodge with wood logs look very primitive. We also got the casegoods project for Disney Colorado Springs Hotel which has more than 1600 rooms and the order was planned to ship in 2 years. In order to produce this order efficiently, we built an automatic transportation line in the finishing department.

In the fierce bidding competition, we won the bid to make all the furniture for Nanjing University International Conference Center Hotel. We also produced the bathroom vanities and kitchen island for the Disney’s Old Key West Resort in Florida.

We have produced furniture for Disney Colorado Spring Hotel- Tower, Holiday Inn Sunset Bay Resort, Holiday Inn Orange Lake, River Island Resort, and Massanutten Resort. In order to meet the new safety and environmental request in China, we have replaced the entire set of dust collection and environmental protection equipment. We also installed 1.6MW solar power station on the factory roof, the system can generate 2 million kWh annually, and reduce CO2 emissions by 1,300 tons. Due to the trade war between US and China, the board of directors decided to re-enter the domestic market, except our existing classical American style product line, we also added fashion luxury style and new Chinese style. We plan to increase our sales proportion for the domestic market. At the same time, we begin to cooperate with some famous domestic design companies to produce customized furniture.

We produced upholstery items for the Disney Riviera Resort and most of the furniture for Holiday Inn Williamsburg Resort. Our first furnishing flagship store was open in Dongguan World Expo Park in July. Our new designs in fashion luxury high-end series began to enter the domestic market, to provide the high end, cost-effective, fashionable and exquisite whole-house home furnishing products to the domestic consumers.

The new crown epidemic is raging, but the company is unyielding and working very hard to move forward steadily. In 2019, the United States applied for a response to a countervailing and anti-dumping investigation of Chinese wooden cabinets and bathroom cabinets.
